Niwot's Addy Ritzenhein Signs NIL Partnership With On

Niwot sophomore Addy Ritzenhein signed a Name, Image and Likeness deal with On on Thursday, making her the company's first signing of a high school athlete.

"I knew that I wanted to be part of the On family," Ritzenhein shared. "They make it very inclusive. They care about their athletes so much, and that really stands out to me."

Ritzenhein is the daughter of three-time Olympian and former 5,000 American Record holder, Dathan Ritzenhein, and two-time Foot Locker Nationals finalist Kalin Ritzenhein (formally Toedebusch.)

Addy Ritzenhein has emerged as one of the country's best distance runners this year.

Last fall she won seven of eight races, including the 4A Colorado State Cross Country Championships, and the 2023 Nike Cross National Championship over a stellar field.

She clocked a personal best of 16:44 at the Desert Twilight XC InviteHer performances earned her the MileSplit50 Athlete of the Year award.

Last month she finished third in the 2-mile at New Balance Nationals Indoor, clocking 9:52.64. The performance made her the third-fastest sophomore in history, as well as third-fastest 2-miler in Colorado history.

Outdoors she's clocked 4:42.56 in the mile at the Arcadia Invitational in California, and 4:44.30 at the Niwot Invitational on her home track in Niwot, Colorado.
